The Gateway Youth Aeronautical Foundation flew in their Bell TH-67 helicopter for static display at the recent discovery flight day held at Elite Aviation, Spirit of St. Louis Airport. The Foundation joined other organizations, including the Hugh J. White Tuskegee Airmen Chapter, the Gateway Eagles, St. Louis Science Center Youth Exploring Science Program and the Red Tail Cadets to provide an educational and fun day of STEM aviation activities. Over thirty youth were flown in the Elite Aviation Cessna 172 fleet aircraft, and they enjoyed getting an up-close look at the Foundation's former U.S. Army training helicopter.
