The Gateway Aeronautical Foundation recently received a large donation of RC models, both in kits and already built, for use in future STEM aviation programs. Currently, the Foundation has a number of models decorating their hangar at Creve Coeur Airport, and the additional aircraft models will join them as the RC model program is established later this year. The Foundation will work with area RC aircraft flying clubs to refurbish current models and construct new ones as part of the mission to encourage youth to discover the world of aviation.
