Intro to Flight Students Receive Realistic Training, Flight Opportunity

The Gateway Youth Aeronautical Foundation Intro to Flight Classes 12 and 13 students continue to progress through their academic and flight simulation courses as they reach the half-way mark of the eight-week session. Here we show local pilot Anthony Tornabene assisting in the Simulator lab and instructor David Kleinschmidt demonstrating Bernoulli's Principle as it applies to aircraft lift. We also recently welcomed our friend Allyssa who flew to Creve Coeur Airport to give a local flight to Corinne, one of our current Intro to Flight program students, in her Cessna 120 Fancy Nancy. Allyssa and Jill Rempala shown here serve as mentors to young women seeking careers in aviation at the Foundation, and we appreciate you both!
